A father’s love?
I bet a lot of you are waiting for me to say something spiritual and deep.
Alright, Give me a second.
Let’s go back to the beginning of it all,
In the beginning Our Father, God, created the heavens and the earth.
He created angels and animals; both male and female,
and then he created mankind.
Then Adam and Eve fell, but out of his love came mercy and with mercy he judged.
So that man shall not be trapped in this sinful flesh for an eternity,
He cursed man to return to dust,
and then he cursed the ground for man’s sake.
See, In the beginning was the Word and the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us and we beheld His glory.
The Word dwelt amongst us; bondservants of sin- and served us his life,
served us his life to propitiate, redeem, justify and reconcile.
Just incase you are confused, let me break it down for you.
He served us his life to
PROPITIATE us by His blood
JUSTIFY us before his sight
RECONCILE us to Himself
PRESENT us holy and blameless before Him
FUFILL all righteousness that we couldn’t do under the law
REDEEM us from the power of sin, guilt of sin and the curse of the law.
and he did all this by dying in our place
Greater love has no one than this, than He who lay down His life for His friends.
Now after doing all this to reinstate us,
He left with us the Holy Spirit, to teach, convict, regenerate, guide and be a witness.
So since we are on the topic of ‘Our Father’s Love”,
Let me tell you what my father’s love is to me and what it does for me.
Although you really don’t have a choice as you are already reading this.
A Father’s love is 2nd Corinthians 13:4-7:
His love is patient enough to wait for us to learn to know him.
His love is kind enough to send His ONLY begotten son to die in our place.
His love does not impose His way but gives us free will.
His love is never resentful in that He forgives once we confess.
His love is so pure He only rejoices in truth.
His love is so meek he came down earth in the form of a slave to serve us slaves.
My father’s love gives hope ,
Hope that we shall resurrect one day.
My father’s love is eternal .
My father’s love comforts the suffering.
My father’s love restores the dead back to life; spiritual, physical mental and emotional.
My father’s love blesses.
My father’s love favours.
I shall declare my father’s love on the mountain tops.
I shall scream for all who can hear to hear.
My father loves me, this I know,
for the Bible tells me so.
Why do you sit down and think yourselves so posh to praise his name?
You are alive because of your father’s love!
You move because of your father’s love!
Who are you without Him?
He loves us so dearly, all he wants is for us to fellowship with Him.
He loved us first.
He is the FIRSTBORN of the DEAD.
The ALPHA and the OMEGA.
The BEGINNING and the END.
Our Father is Love.
This poem was inspired by an event created and held by the young adults of the Redeemed Christian Church of God- Rhema Chapel. The theme of the event was ‘Our Father’s Love’. Thank you again for reading this. God bless you.
The sins of my Unforgiveness,
keeps me up at night,
Engraved in every turn of my nightmares,
I wonder if I’ll ever sleep right.
I thought smiling at you,
would relieve me of the pain you caused me,
but my Father who sees it all sitting on His throne,
Warned me of the demons I was letting in.
Because of you I have demons,
Because of you my angels have to fight.
No… no I’m sorry,
Because of me I have demons,
Because of the unforgiveness in my heart,
I have no peace.
I do not want to sleep with these demons anymore,
I want to sleep and dream about the love of my life ,
and what He gives me ; joy peace hope and faith,
I want to be grateful for His mercies and grace,
thank Him for His forgiveness of my sins.
I forgive you.
Only Because my Father up in heaven forgave me.
Now the sins of my unforgiveness
They follow me no more

Hello people! I hope everyone is having a blessed time during this month. If you haven’t had the best time this month just remember that you are still alive, and it’s only 3 months into the year!! That means there’s still time to have the best experience in 2016. I pray everyone reading this or not reading this is blessed and just incase you aren’t feeling so blessed, I pray the Lord blesses you.
It’s been a while since I posted on here but thats because I have been planning something sweet for you all!! Alright I do not want to lie, I have been waiting to be led by my spirit before posting on here. This website is strictly for God and I do not want to preach anything on here that He hasn’t asked me to or I haven’t felt led to.
Anyways enough of that! Let’s go into what I was led to share with you all today!!! So today I am going to be posting a few Christian songs for specific situations. Sometimes we might be feeling upset, or down or just on the fence. Sometimes you might not be loving yourself as you should and your self esteem may be crumbling and other times, you may be feeling too proud and thinking it is by your works that you are receiving the mercies of God. There are different moods that a person could experience and that is why God has anointed some souls here on this earth to help us uplift our spirit man when those times come. Some of these songs have helped me tremendously and others I heard and thought ” Whenever I feel the opposite of this, I will listen to this song”. From time to time I will be posting more songs so this isn’t the first and last of it. Now I pray reading through this post, you find something there for yourself to help uplift your spirit man! Another thing I would like to say is it doesn’t matter if you are not a Christian. If a song on here calls to you and you feel may help you, please listen to it and be blessed by my God. Just click on the title of the song and it will redirect you to the song on Youtube.
Here we go….
1.Flaws by Kierra Sheard This song helped me so much when I just started taking my walk with God seriously. I had stayed in the world for so long that it broke down my self esteem. My self esteem literally dwelt in the depths of hell because for a fact, it didn’t reside with me. This song tells one how God made those ‘flaws’ and how much he loves you and them. I am not going to say much because the songs says it all.
Psalm 139:14 “ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well”.
2. No Gray by Jonathan Mcreynolds This song is the perfect song describing the life of a believer who loves the things of this world but loves God too. It describes that fighting battle inside of a believer that Paul described in
Galatians 5:7 “For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do”.
3. Come Boldly by Mairo Ese
This song is uplifting to a believer who is feeling somewhat condemned in any way. The devil loves to ‘guilt trip’ believers when they do something ‘unholy’ or ‘unrighteous’ and then we end up beating ourselves up even after they have asked for forgiveness from God. This ends up hindering our spiritual growth, our prayer life and so much more. We should be able to go before the throne of God at any time. This songs asks a believer to come boldly before the throne. Jesus died for our sins so we be justified before God. This song encourages the faith of a believer in Jesus. Alright let me stop here before I end up preaching. Let the song do its job. Enjoy. you will need to purchase this song in Itunes or Google Play.
Romans 8:1 “Therefore now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
This song describes the life of a believer who has tried with their own strength and have come to the point where they need his strength. Sometimes we think we can do it by our strength until we find ourselves on our knees begging God for strength. If you are at that point, this song is for you. It encourages one to ask for help from God. I pray you find the help you are looking for in Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight”.
This song is for a believer who is searching to re-experience the awe of being in Jesus. Sometimes we get so deep into religion we forget how awesome our God is. This song places thoughts in one’s mind so they are reminded of the awe the felt when they first heard of the Gospel of Christ.
Exodus 15:11 “Who is like you O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you ,majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”
This song emphasizes on the confession of speaking positive words in to ones life. It also encourages a believer to have faith and believe whatever they are trusting God for. Also it is a nice song to start your day with. (shower, brush teeth to, put on makeup with) I mean it does it all. Enjoy my people!
Mark 11:23-24 “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”.
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that its all about God. It’s not about that guy that you really like or your grades or your roommate annoying you. This song is all about God. (haha get the pun? ). Another thing this song addresses is how the enemy cannot harm you because the anointed one lives in you.It also addresses following the perfect will of God and living your life and shinning your light in His name. Enjoy lovelies.
Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, another vindication is from ME declares the LORD.”
Ever have those days when you are feeling down and really not motivated to do anything productive? No? Well I have definitely had a number of such days. For those that said yes, this song is for you. This song is so upbeat that the beat alone could make you get up. It could be used for an alarm? This song reminds a believer of who they are. It reminds one that they are a creation of God and they shouldn’t waste hours in a day feeling down. Every day is an opportunity to shine your light.
2 Timothy 1:17 “But God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control.”
This song is by Michelle Williams just incase you didn’t see the title. A lot of people discriminate against some singers saying they are in the world sometimes and so the spirit of God is not in their songs. I really do not agree with that! Don’t you fall sometimes ( lie, keep malice, be mean to someone)? If you are in your church choir, then you may as well get off that stage and sit on your behind and be cleansed by the blood.
This songs asks for the glory of God to fall down. It’s for someone seeking the presence of God or a miracle from God. It is a beautiful song.
Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
This song is for a believer who is seeking to bask in the mercies of God. Sometimes we feel we are undeserving of God’s mercies and love and that is true if you haven’t accepted Jesus to be your Personal Lord and Saviour. When we accept him we are justified so we deserve his mercies to an extent. It is not by our works that we receive mercies and grace. It is by his unconditional love and by His gracious nature. This song literally asks the question how can it be that one has all the blessings of coming into Jesus Christ and then it talks about all the things Jesus has done for us. Enjoy.
John 15:13 “Greater love has no on than this, that he that lay down his life for his friends”
Hey guys!!! I hope you are all having an amazing and blessed week. Today is the beginning of a new month and the start of every new month is an opportunity to ‘reinvent’ yourself or ‘set short term goals’…etc. I pray that by the end of this month, Unexpected things will come your way; elevation, altitude and grace. In Jesus’ name.
Today I am here to tell you how much Jesus loves you.
I feel like sometimes preachers of the Gospel of Christ, preach so much of what we ought to do, principles and doctrines, that we fail to readdress what made us believe in the first place. So today, I’m going to tell you what made me believe.
A few years later I found myself entangled in wrong decisions and a scarred heart. The things of the world that I loved so much and wanted to enjoy, had left me so battered to the point where I became emotionally numb. I disconnected from everyone and started to chase empty nothings. I pushed all my friends away. Oh yes! You would see me with a smile but wouldn’t know I was weeping and mourning on the inside.
While in this depressed state, I started to reflect a lot and then I started to find my way back to my first love. Something happened where a truth was exposed to me and in that moment, I knew God loved me so much he exposed that to me( I would explain details of this on my podcasts later on when it is released but for now I don’t want you to get bored reading a long long blog post).
I felt like God had been knocking on the door into my heart and I was running so I wouldn’t even hear the sound of the knock, let alone answer it. I felt his merciful love and I knew in my heart that if I didn’t let him in, My life would be an example a lot of negative statistics in this world. So I let him in. I let him in and ever since that day, I have experienced this unending feeling of joy and peace in my heart and life.To be honest with you, I don’t know why this is my message to you all today but I know in my heart this is a message meant for someone. I just feel the need to reassure you that Jesus loves you. He was willing to die for you and he did die for you. He is willing to help you with whatever you’re going through right now. He is willing to give you the strength you need for whatever situation you’re dealing with. All you have to do is let him in and cry out to him. He wants to be there for you but you need to allow him to help you. Stop trying to help yourself. Don’t you realize that your plans, goals and strategies keep failing? Just leave it all in his hands and trust in him. If you haven’t given your life to Him and allowed him to be your personal Lord and Saviour , give it to Him. He loves you and wants whats best for you. During the process, you might not understand what he’s doing and it might not even make sense to you but that’s where fully trusting him becomes so important. I don’t know who this message is for but if this gets to your heart, DON’T IGNORE IT!!! Act on it. Get down on your knees and make that commitment. All the things of this world always lead to complications. He gives love, peace, grace, mercies and so much more.I pray you all have a blessed week. God be with you all. Thanks for reading this post.
Good morning beautiful people.
I pray that by reading this, God reveals Himself to you as He has been doing for me in different ways out of His Grace and Mercies.
I hope you have all been having an amazing and blessed week.
To be honest, I have had a very interesting week and I will get to that soon…
Why am I posting this at 3am in the morning?
Well, Because, I have been up all night doing NOTHING. I won’t say I have been up because I ‘couldn’t’ sleep because I am a child of God and his word says in Proverbs 3:24 “When you lie down you will not be afraid, when you lie down your sleep will be sweet”. It says when you lie down, AKA once you lie down and put your phones down, turn off the lights ( in my case turn off the lights but leave the lamp on, because I used to need the lamp on because I used to be afraid of the dark, but after coming to the understanding that God has not given me a spirit of fear in 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, self love and discipline“ I only leave the lamp on because I like how it looks) and close your eyes, sleep will come easy to you and that sleep will be sweet. Kind of explains why sleep is so good now.
Now to my REALLY Interesting week…
So Monday was really blessed. Scored a 100% on an exam I put minimal effort into so I know God had a big part to play in there. Tuesday was amazing, I slept for a good amount of time. Honestly I can’t even remember my week in detail because the last two days have been EXTRAORDINARY!!! So let’s get right into the interesting part.
So Earlier this week I posted something about giving thanks to God in everything that we do. I guess God really wants to be sure that that habit is ingrained deeply into my soul. So I had a bunch of incidents happen to me and EVERY SINGLE TIME I gave thanks to him, Something extra ordinary happened. However one particular event has given me great joy and I am very humbled by his mercy in my life. Let’s call it the incidence of the missing winter glove.
The incidence of the Missing Winter Glove…
Wednesday night, I was on campus studying in a library all night. I never moved from my space until it was time to go. I packed my bags and everything, ready to leave, until I checked my stuff and realized that I couldn’t find one of my winter gloves. I literally searched everywhere; went into my backpack to be sure ( because I used to have this nasty habit of not looking for things properly, out of sheer laziness, and then proclaiming them missing). So I did a thorough search but this glove decided to leave me at a time of need. I just went ahead and packed my stuff up but before I left that area I whispered “Thank you Lord”. Now just before I left the building the security guard and his friend were like super concerned asking me when I lost it, what it looks like and all questions of that sort. So I started to get cheesed by the many questions, because I kept trying to tell them I wore the glove on my way there so there is no way I could have dropped it anywhere else. While they were talking I remembered this place I stopped at, on my way to the library earlier that night, so I tell them I’ll go look there. Before I left his friend kept talking but I tried to be polite and listened to him talk. So while listening to his friend talk the security guard asks “Is this it?” or something like that. I look up and it’s the exact glove (same missing hand) but the only problem was that glove wasn’t mine. I would know because the one missing hand had a ratchet tear inside it. I answered “yeah”but that was when I thought it was mine. Next thing he said while I was examining the glove in astonishment was “This has been here for about 3 days”. Confused, I decided to look inside and search for my signature tear but I couldn’t find it. At this point I had like a bewildered facial expression. Instead they were laughing at me. I kept telling them “yo this isn’t mine” but they kept looking at me like I was crazy. Then I heard them say “might as well take it so you don’t go outside in the cold without a glove” or something like that. So I leave with the glove.
What am I trying to say?
God does so many things for us but in order to realize these things, you need to always give thanks to him for the little things he does so when the big things happen there is no way you could miss it. His word says in Luke 16:10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.“ His mercy provided me with a glove so I didn’t have to walk back home without a glove on one hand and I thank Him for it. This is one of the many testimonies I have about giving thanks to Him. Always try to appreciate the little things. It is okay if it is hard to stay conscious of always being thankful but just having the willingness to try and actually try because trying goes a very long way. I am still trying too so let’s encourage one another to do this together so in the end God can trust us with bigger blessings. However that’s not the only reason why you should give thanks to Him. Give thanks to Him to honor him as your God, to be conscious of him as your Father and to be loved by him as your Lord.
